Are kitchen wall panels waterproof?
The products within the DBS Bathrooms kitchen wall panels range are all 100% waterproof, making them perfect for use in the kitchen, even near the sink, cooker or other areas where the walls are exposed to moisture.
Are kitchen wall panels fire rated?
Yes, all of our panels are Class 1 Fire Rated, allowing you peace of mind when choosing wall cladding for kitchen walls.
Can kitchen wall panels be installed over tiles?
Yes, as long as the tiles are fixed firmly to the walls, we would recommend installing our wall boarding for kitchens directly over the existing tiles.
How are kitchen wall panels installed?
Kitchen wall panelling is installed on your walls or ceiling using a solvent free adhesive. The panels are then secured into place using small self-tapping screws. The screws will be installed onto the tongue section of the panel and the next panel will then interlock, covering the screws. We also have a complete installation video available here.
Can I use kitchen wall panels as a splashback?
Our kitchen panels can easily be used as a splashback for kitchens, as they are 100% waterproof. However, beware that if you intend to use our panels behind the hob or oven, a heat-proof glass protector should also be installed to protect the panel from warping in the heat.
